Renault partners with R-FIT to launch electric retrofit kits in France

Renault is launching electric retrofit kits in France in partnership with R-FIT. These kits can be installed on the popular Renault 4, Renault 5 and first generation Twingo. The Renault 5 electric retrofit kit will go on sale in France in September 2023 while the kit for the Twingo will be made available at a later date.

CARB Executive Order certifies Toyota’s heavy-duty fuel cell electric powertrain kit as a Zero-Emission Powertrain (ZEP)

Toyota was earlier granted a Zero Emission Powertrain (ZEP) Executive Order (A-014-1170) from the California Air Resources Board (CARB) for its new heavy-duty fuel cell electric powertrain kit. CPKC orders 3.6MW of Ballard fuel cells for expansion of hydrogen locomotive program

Ballard Power Systems received an order for additional fuel cell engines from Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC). These eighteen, 200 kW fuel cell engines (3.6 Over the past two years, Ballard has supplied CPKC with 20 fuel cell engines for use in three different types of locomotives, with combined fuel cell power of 4MW.
