The 2022 Honda Insight hybrid sedan gets a price bump for the new model year, but retains its 52 mpg combined EPA fuel-economy rating. The price increase is largely due to the elimination of the base LX trim level, leaving only the EX and Touring trim levels.

The US Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Energy today released the 2010 Fuel Economy Guide, which gives consumers information about estimated fuel costs and mileage standards for model year 2010 vehicles. For MY 2010, the Prius is the top fuel economy leader , with EPA ratings of 51/48 mpg city/highway.

Toyota says the lithium-ion battery is 15% more efficient and weighs less, both of which are key for getting high fuel economy and increased driving range.
