New Zealand Post buys Hyundai XCIENT fuel cell truck

NZ Post has purchased the first of Hyundai New Zealand’s five XCIENT hydrogen-powered fuel cell electric trucks. The Hyundai XCIENT Fuel Cell truck was officially unveiled in its working livery by NZ Post at an event held at their Auckland Operations Center and attended by Energy and Resources Minister Megan Woods.

Toyota runs GR Corolla fueled by liquid hydrogen

On 23 February, a GR Corolla fueled by liquid hydrogen was given a Super Taikyu test run at Fuji Speedway in Oyama, Shizuoka. Whereas the GR Corollas competing in previous Super Taikyu events were fueled by gaseous hydrogen ( earlier post ), this official test featured a GR Corolla using liquid fuel.

Hyundai HTWO supplying fuel cell generator to ETCR racing for EV charging

Hyundai Motor Group announced that its dedicated hydrogen fuel cell system brand, HTWO, will make its motorsports debut, providing its fuel cell generator to the ETCR (Electric Touring Car Racing) category. The system can fully charge two ETCR vehicles—each equipped with a 65kWh battery—simultaneously within an hour.
