Badlands NGL to develop $4B plant in North Dakota to convert ethane from Bakken NGLs into polyethylene

Badlands NGL, LLC, announced the development of a North Dakota manufacturing plant that will convert ethane (C 2 H 6 ), a byproduct of natural gas processing, into polyethylene, which is used to make a wide variety of end-use consumer and industrial plastics.
