Nissan Limits Initial Leaf Rollout To 200 Cars In Five States
Nissan is taking orders today for the Leaf, the first mass-produced, all-electric vehicle, but it’s only offering up 200 cars for December delivery. Those Leafs will go to five states in the initial rollout market – California, Washington, Oregon, Arizona and Tennessee — which amounts to just few orders per dealer.

We hope those who want to help contribute to the "successful commercialization of plug-in vehicles ASAP" will take Washington up on its invitation to comment in the next 60 days. and international oil agencies now expect the price of oil (unlike electricity and natural gas) to increase significantly over the next five years.

The State of Washington is currently considering a new policy that would implement a new annual registration fee of $100 on electric vehicles. Is this a fair policy for electric vehicle owners? This new fee would be in addition to other registration fees currently assessed on all highway vehicles.
