Virginia Clean Cities reaches 1,000 vehicle conversions to propane

'Virginia Clean Cities announced that 1,000 vehicles have been successfully converted to run on propane autogas through the Southeast Propane Autogas Development Program (SPADP). The Program is supported by funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) and the US Department of Energy’s Clean Cities Program. Program fleets significantly save on fuel costs and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by running vehicles on American-made propane autogas.

Shanghai GM and SAIC-GM-Wuling as well as all of their brands also had all-time sales highs for the month. Shanghai GM’s domestic sales rose 18.4% from May 2012 to 117,381 units. SAIC-GM-Wuling sold 130,462 vehicles in China, an increase of 2.1% year on year.
