Four were announced in April, and all should be operational by the end of 2014. 'The Venezuelan state oil company, Petroleos de Venezuela, SA (PdVSA), has signed agreements with two major Indian energy companies, Reliance and OVL, for work in Venezuela’s Orinoco heavy oil belt. Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) and PDVSA signed a Joint Study Agreement for Ayacucho Block 8 in Orinoco Oil Belt. 'Waste and recycling company Republic Services, Inc. has deployed 23 compressed natural gas (CNG) solid waste and recycling trucks to serve customers throughout the Twin Cities area. The new CNG fleet will replace older diesel powered trucks. Republic operates a fleet of more than 1,400 CNG vehicles and 26 natural gas fueling stations nationwide. Nationwide, the company plans to have more than 3,100 trucks nationwide running on natural gas and other alternative fuels by the end of 2015.
