California ARB holding informational meeting on feasibility of measuring LEV III PM mass standards

The California Air Resources Board (ARB) will conduct a public meeting on 22 October to hear an update from ARB staff on the feasibility of measurement of LEV III particulate matter (PM) standards. The meeting is informational only, with no Board action anticipated. PM emissions from light- and medium-duty vehicles are regulated by California’s Low-Emission Vehicle (LEV) regulations.

Audi worldwide sales up 6.8% in September; strong Q7 performance

Audi saw its worldwide sales increase by 6.8% in September to around 170,900 cars. Sales in the Americas rose by 11.9%, while the brand’s business in Europe increased by 8.8%. With a strong start from the new Audi Q7, Audi saw its best-ever September sales in company history in Europe with almost 80,000 units. Since the start of the year, global sales have increased by 3.8% across all models to around 1,347,950 units.
