Audi e-tron
There's a good amount of deals currently available on the entry level e-tron 50 quattro for under £500.
Audi’s all-electric SUV offers a range of 190 miles from its 71kWh battery pack. This is around 50 miles less than the 95kWh e-tron 55 we reviewed above. Compatible with 120kW rapid chargers, it can be charged to 80% in around half an hour.
Alternatively, the battery can be replenished at home using AC charging – a 7kW home wall box charger is currently available at no extra cost to all e-tron customers with a full recharge taking just over 10 hours.

Audi Q4 e-tron
Fancy something a little more stylish than the e-tron? Enter the brand-spanking new Audi Q4 e-tron. Available as a standard SUV and Sportback, it’s one of the newest Audis available and gets all the most recent styling cues such as a huge faux-grille (EVs don’t need air to cool the engine) and a sharp set of headlights.
While it might not be as outright practical as the larger e-tron, it can be had for around the same price. But with even the Sportback model getting 520 litres of boot space, it’s still a practical proposition if you’re after a cutting edge family car. It supports fast charging, and even entry-level Q4 35 models are capable of up to 217 miles between charging.

If you’re feeling particularly flush
Audi R8
Yes, we have deals on the Audi R8, but monthly instalments are rather eye watering.
With a V10 engine burbling away behind you in surround sound, the R8 Spyder is probably one of the last opportunities you’ll get to experience pure and unfiltered performance from a naturally aspirated 5.2-litre V10 engine.
Limited in practicality and costing more than twice the average mortgage, but pure fun for those who can afford it, it’s a car you should drive if the opportunity presents itself.
