Nissan LEAF drivers pass 850M kilometers driven

'The collective electric distance driven by the Nissan LEAF EV worldwide now stands at more than 850 million kilometers (528 million miles), which translates to more than 150,000 tons of CO 2 emissions reduced. Nissan estimates that the billion-kilometer (621 million miles) mark will be passed by January 2015. Rising sales and a rapidly expanding quick charge network mean the target might be beaten even earlier, Nissan suggested.
