Green Car Congress attended the Renewable Energy Finance Forum - Wall Street (REFF-Wall Street) conference (23-24 June) sponsored by Euromoney Energy Events and the American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE). Although not part of the conferences formal structure, the themes were addressed in the presentations and panel discussions.

Their statement suggests using some of the money available from fiscal stimulus packages to invest in activities that can provide jobs as well as create low emission options. They warn against complacency in the UN climate talks, due to conclude in December in Copenhagen to replace the Kyoto Protocol.

In addition to providing the heat for system processes, the CHP generator will provide 7.5MW of green electricity. There has been activity with biomass electrical power generation in the past several months. The ethanol plant will be capable of producing 23 million gallons/year. billion gallons/year of capacity.
