EPA announces availability of $26M for projects to reduce diesel emissions from existing fleet

Diesel-powered engines move approximately 90% of the nation’s freight tonnage, and today nearly all highway freight trucks, locomotives, and commercial marine vessels are powered by diesel engines. Region 8 (Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming): EPA is requesting proposals between $300,000 and $1,500,000.
