Unless/until PV cells become more efficient, and are part of the original installation, they will seriously affect the cars aerodynamics and will be far less durable than metal. How about a car-mounted wind-generator? Are the batteries recyclable? What about battery safety? Better yet, make a tax-deductible contribution.
