The agreement also sets forth the first phase of commercial production of electric fleet vehicles utilizing HHI’s high tech engineering and manufacturing capability and Raser’s extended range electric vehicle powertrain technology. At the 2009 SAE World Congress, Raser and FEV showcased a HUMMER H3 converted with the EREV powertrain.

Well need to spend some more time with the car to find out how it holds up over longer drives, but the powertrain tech obviously works. In California, 20% of our electricity comes from zero CO2 renewables (sun, wind, geothermal), another 20% from zero CO2 hydro, and only 20.1% to decide if we ever get to see these promises fulfilled.
