The clean design is void of cladding, with the only bright-work to be found on the “C40” and “VOLVO” badging. Without an engine up front there is a front trunk, or frunk, for stashing small items, such as the charging cable. There is a bit less head room when entering the rear seats and a bit less cargo space in the far back.
