BYD wins order for another 406 electric buses in Bogotá, Colombia

BYD entered the Colombian market in 2012 and made several milestone achievements: building the first pure electric taxi fleet in South America in 2013, entering the Bogotá BRT system in 2017. There are currently 483 electric buses in TRANSMILENIO S.A, —Lara Zhang, Regional Director of BYD Latin America.

Their projects and respective team leads are: Coastal Cities at Risk: Building Adaptive Capacity for Managing Climate Change in Coastal Megacities. Murray Simpson, the CARIBSAVE Partnership, Barbados; Daniel Scott, University of Waterloo, Canada. The five successful research teams were selected through a rigorous peer-review process.
