Chinas Largest Euro-5 Diesel Engine Plant Comes Online; 300,000 Units in Phase 1, 1M Units Targeted

CCTV reports that the Haw Tai Motor Plant, China’s largest Euro-5 diesel engine plant, has gone into production in Inner Mongolia. It’s China’s first clean diesel engine for autos. Cars powered by diesel engines make up over 50-percent of market share in Europe and the figure is increasing in North America, Japan and South Korea.
