My column last week on Fourth of July fireworks and their environmental impact had an explosive impact of its own, as my back-and-forth with a right wing blogger in the comments section helped make it the most popular article on Hermosa Beach | Patch for five straight days. This is nothing less than the equivalent of quoting the KKK’s view of black people in an article on civil rights. Senator Inhofe and his point of view have zero support by any of the world’s respected scientists or any credible science association.

I intend to read the Breeze’s few local articles of community interest for free on their highly unattractive website. The Breeze is no longer worth paying for. It’s not even cheap at twenty five cents an issue. So today I have canceled my subscription of many years. You were redundant in that way.

The Breeze got their own headline wrong since Bradley isn’t a “Torrance man he lives in Rancho Palos Verdes where his business is based, as it says in paragraph five of their article, but you’ve got to cut them some slack because their legacy ship is sinking. Besides, what do you expect for nothing, on-line?

But if you read the news articles, solar advocates are supposed to be oh-s0-grateful and thrilled that the net metering cap wasn’t filled leaving no more room for new solar owners. But as you can tell, I am NOT the least bit grateful and I’m NOT thrilled one iota.

In fact, what that limp-wristed closing sentence in their article on the Coen Brother’s new anti-coal commercial really does is carry water for Killer Coal. What the Times is offering instead of Creative Greenius is a cowardly, inaccurate, cover-your-ass kind of statement that neither informs or enlightens. It’s as if the L.A.

Well my article is going to go into the MB Residents Association publication. But I bet you the average citizen who lives in the 16 cities that make up the COG has, a) never heard about the Cool Cities program and b) doesn’t know that their city has taken the pledge or what it means.
