Nikkei study finds Toyota with huge lead in solid-state battery patents

The study looked at applications turned in between 2000 through the end of March from 10 countries and territories. The study found that Toyota Motor is by far the leading holder of solid-state battery patents with 1,331 known patents. Between 2016 and 2020, Toyota increased patents related to solid-state batteries by roughly 40%.

Study finds reduction of low-frequency noise from transition to electric buses improved residents’ health

Accompanying the lower noise levels from bus traffic was a reduction of fatigue, day time sleepiness and low mood, a study at the University of Gothenburg shows.
