Toyota Motor North America, KDDI and AT&T will collaborate to enable 4G LTE connectivity for all new model Toyota and Lexus cars and trucks. Unlimited data plans offered by AT&T for eligible Toyota and Lexus vehicles.

Lexus is entering the 2016 model year with a three model strategy for its IS sport sedan: IS 200t, IS 300 AWD, and IS 350. Lexus developed the turbocharged engine in house, first integrated it into the NX luxury utility hybrid for 2015 model year, and modified it for IS 200t. The former IS 250 and IS 250 AWD are discontinued.

2016 RX 450h. Lexus unveiled the new fourth-generation Lexus RX at the 2015 New York Auto Show. million units—three out of ten vehicles ever sold by Lexus. The new RX lineup—the RX 350 and the RX450h hybrid—feature safety technologies that include the Lexus Safety System+ ( earlier post ).

Lexus International announced it has sold more than 1 million hybrid vehicles worldwide since the RX 400h went on sale in April 2005. As of the end of March 2016, Lexus had sold approximately 1,000,600 hybrid vehicles in 11 years. Today, Lexus manufactures ten hybrid models, with more on the way.

Following the world premiere of the V8-powered LC 500 at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in January 2016, Lexus introduced its hybrid variant, the new LC 500h. The LC is a new flagship 2+2 performance coupe for Lexus’ global model range, and will go on sale in the US in Spring 2017. Earlier post.)
