EaglePicher breaks ground on Li-ion Center of Excellence in Missouri

The 100,000-plus square-foot facility will be built adjacent to its current Li-ion facility at the Crossroads Industrial Park in Joplin, Missouri and will expand the EaglePicher cell and battery portfolio. EaglePicher anticipates this new facility will be completed near the end of 2015.

Study finds road conditions in US states worsening in important categories

Missouri, Maine and Kentucky round out the top five states. The Annual Highway Report finds states disbursed about $139 billion for state-controlled highways and arterials in 2016, a 4% decrease from approximately $145 billion spent in 2015.

USDA: $210M to be invested in renewable fuel pump infrastructure through the Biofuel Infrastructure Partnership

In May 2015, USDA announced the availability of $100 million in grants through the BIP, and that to apply states and private partners match the federal funding by a 1:1 ratio. USDA received applications requesting more than $130 million, outpacing the $100 million that is available.
