I was able to spend 10 minutes driving a Saturn Aura sedan with an (HCCI) engine system. GM is developing a fifth generation system for 2015 which will have substantially longer range and a much smaller fuel cell stack than the generation four system. GM has 24 models available with VVT in 2010. HCCI represents a longer term solution.
