There have already been more Hyundai Tucson Fuel Cell vehicles leased in the U.S. That slightly exceeds the number of Honda FCX Clarity fuel-cell sedans leased from 2008 through April. than any other hydrogen-powered vehicle. Through April, Hyundai has leased 68 of the small SUVs since last June, when the first one was delivered.

The maximum discount is £5,000 off the price of a Sante Fe, with £3,500 off the Tucson, £4,000 off the i30, £3,000 off the i40, and £2,000 for the IONIQ Hybrid, i20 and ix20. Back in 2008, the company was the first to introduce a scheme which ran from April 2009 to March 2010. i10 will also benefit from £1,500 saving.

The custom built Li-S battery pack was designed and assembled by Sion Power in Tucson, Arizona. This includes quadrupling the Zephyr’s previous unofficial world record for longest duration unmanned flight, 82 hours, 37 minutes set in 2008. The Li-S battery pack was carefully engineered to minimize total pack weight.
