Suzuki to showcase fuel cell and plug-in hybrid concepts
Continuing the fuel cell theme; Suzuki has been producing electric wheelchairs for 35 years and will be showing the MIO – powered by a direct methanol fuel cell instead of a conventional lead – acid battery. It is fitted with a compact 660cc engine and equipped with a generator to charge the lithium-ion battery if capacity level drops.

    It would take about a 1000 pounds of the weight of the car and the pack would last many times the life of the lead acid batteries. I took the 914 back to A&P Specialties yesterday to upgrade the front brake calipers with ones from a BMW320i. The brake pedal definitely feels different.
