Colorado State University will retrofit two internal delivery trucks with fuel-efficient hydraulic hybrid systems, paid for by a grant from the Colorado Energy Office. Colorado State has selected Lightning Hybrids LLC ( earlier post ) to provide the systems.

Colorado State University Forecasters Predict Above-Average 2010 Hurricane Season

The Colorado State University forecast team predicts an above-average 2010 Atlantic basin hurricane season based on the premise that El Niño conditions will dissipate by this summer and that anomalously warm tropical Atlantic sea surface temperatures will persist. Colorado, which overlies part of the Niobrara Shale, had 93% growth in production from 2010 to 2013; Oklahoma, with the Woodford Shale, had 62% growth; and New Mexico, which shares the Permian Basin with Texas, had 51% growth.
