Battery-gasoline hybrids go back more than 20 years to the first Toyota Prius, but real mainstream battery-only electric EVs are only in their second decade. This marketing choice by Ford is either a very bad idea (brand dilution) or a genius plan to move the pony car into the modern era. Not an H or D in sight. Fine with me.
