These specifications sound strikingly similar to the electric drive and energy storage system found in the very impressive AC Propulsion eBox electric vehicles which also sport a 5,088 lithium-ion cell battery with 35kWhrs of capacity.

The lithium-ion battery comprises 168 prismatic cells and is liquid-cooled. Its emphasis is on lithium-ion battery systems, which are put together using a flexible, modular concept. The modular strategy also means the batteries can be used across all models and brands throughout the entire Volkswagen Group.
