Porsche will manufacture the future all-electric version of the fourth-generation Cayenne at Volkswagen Slovakia’s multi-brand location in Bratislava. Prototype of the new Cayenne Porsche has already announced a further all-electric SUV above the Cayenne for the second half of the decade.

The Supervisory Board of Porsche AG has decided to manufacture the next generation of the Macan as a fully electric series. This will be the first all-electric compact SUV from Porsche, and is due to roll off the assembly line in the Leipzig site at the start of the next decade. Current generation Macan.

Michael Steiner, until now Head of Total Vehicle Development/Quality at Porsche, has been appointed Compliance Commissioner at the Volkswagen Group effective as of 16 November 2015. in engineering, moved from Daimler, where he held various management posts, to join Porsche as Head of Innovation and Concepts in 2002.
